Effective date: April 9, 2026
LimitLock ("the App") is developed by TJ. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your choices.
LimitLock does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All fish catch data (weights, tags, totals) stays on your device and paired Apple Watch.
The App requests access to your device's microphone and Apple's on-device speech recognition service so you can log catches by voice. Audio is processed locally by iOS and is never recorded, stored, or sent to any server by LimitLock. Apple's own privacy terms govern the speech recognition framework.
If you use the Apple Watch companion app, fish data is synced between your iPhone and Apple Watch over Apple's Watch Connectivity framework. This communication is device-to-device and does not pass through any third-party server.
LimitLock contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no third-party trackers.
Catch data is held in memory for the duration of your session. LimitLock does not persist data between app launches. When you close the app or reset your bag, the data is gone.
LimitLock does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The App does not require an account or any personal information to use.
If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
